HOYA YOUTH FOOTBALL & CHEER
FOOTBALL FUNDAMENTALS ACADEMY
For all students entering grades K - 8 (players and cheerleaders will be placed into age and skill groups)
Dates: Every Tuesday & Thursday (May 30, June 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29)
Times: 6:15 – 7:30 (Arrive at 6:15 to check in. Academy starts at 6:30 sharp)
Groups: 5 groups on offensive days, (depends on enrollment) K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, 6th/7th, & 8th 4
Groups on Razzle Dazzle days (depends on enrollment) K/1st, 2nd/3rd, 4th/5th, 6th/7th/ 8th
All sessions will be held at Lost Mountain Park, Field #1 (closest to the concession stand)
10 sessions for only $130
T-shirts for all academy participants and awards for each age group will be provided
FOOTBALL SESSIONS INCLUDE:
Coaching and instruction provided by Harrison High School Varsity Coaches Joshua Cassidy & BJ Lock. In addition, we will have current and former Harrison High School players at each session.
Academy Liability Waiver
I hereby certify that I have knowledge of my child’s physical condition and state of health, and give my consent and permission for my child to engage in the active sports program of the Harrison Youth Football and Cheer Association. I do further certify that my child has no physical defects, disease, or disability that will in any way jeopardize his health or physical condition if he/she is allowed to take an active part in the program. I further state that I shall not hold any Person, Firm or corporation backing the team, nor any of the Coaches, or volunteers responsible nor liable for injuries incurred during camp/program/academy sessions. I further certify that by clicking on the pay now button (to the right) I have been served with notification that Harrison Youth Football and Cheer Association DO NOT CARRY INSURANCE ON MY CHILD. As parent/legal guardian, I am responsible for medical bills incurred while my child participates in camp/program/academy activities. I further certify that by clicking on the Pay Now button (to the right) I have given permission to the Harrison Hoya Youth Football and Cheer Association to transport my child to a medical facility to secure treatment, if necessary.
Participants should wear shorts, t-shirts, cleats (for football), tennis shoes (for cheer), and NO JEWELRY (rings, earrings, necklaces, etc.). Please have sun block and bug spray for your child!
Water will be provided.
DO NOT BRING ANY VALUABLES.
Registration and payment is due on May 21.
No player will be allowed to participate without a completed registration.
CHEER SESSIONS INCLUDE:
Coaches from Stingrays and Harrison High School cheerleaders will bring their cheer and competition experience to aid the cheerleaders in learning all the fundamentals of sidelines and competition cheer.
Offensive, Defensive, & Kicking Instruction
